A workwear pant, made kid-sized. Drill is the dense cotton twill behind a century of work jackets and utility trousers. It holds a clean, straight line and gets softer with every wash. We took that weave, made it in organic Japanese cotton, gave it a drawstring waist and a straight leg, and left the rest alone.
It has real structure and a little weight in the hand, but it is never stiff. The twill has a subtle diagonal texture and a deep charcoal black that looks polished at school pickup and still looks right at dinner out. Like all good workwear, the best pair is the one that has been through the wash twenty times: the cotton relaxes, the color settles, and the fit becomes theirs.
Elastic drawstring waist with an orange tie that kids can manage on their own, two front pockets, two back patch pockets, and a straight leg with room to move. Unisex, made in New York City, and made to be handed down kid after kid.

Returns & Exchanges
To start a return, sign in to your Firebird account with the email you used at checkout, open your order, and select "Return items." No password needed: we email you a one-time code. Once approved, you will receive a prepaid return label by email.
Firebird accepts returns of unworn, unused and unwashed products within 30 days of shipment, for free.
